Kameoka Matsuri Festival (亀岡祭)
The Kameoka Matsuri Festival is a reisai (regular festival) of Kuwayama-jinja Shrine that takes place for three days from October 23 to October 25 annually in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture. The festival is also called the "Gion matsuri Festival of Tanba" and the "Autumn matsuri Festival of Kameoka."
Schedule of events
October 23 (two days before a festival vigil): Night parade of Mt. Miwa.
October 24 (eve of a festival vigil): Stamp rally
October 25 (main festival): Yamahoko (decorated floats) Junko parade
